United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling is a family owned and operated manufacturing facility established in Hartford, CT, in 1960. As business grew they moved to East Hartford into a 6,200 square foot facility that consisted of their current office space and two adjoining areas of manufacturing space. They added 4,300 square feet in 2001 and another 5,600 square feet in 2016, making the modern, fully heated and air conditioned facility that exists today. 

United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling started by servicing primarily the aerospace industry given its proximity to Pratt & Whitney and the manufacturing corridor here in the northeast. As time went on, the company began to diversify and service other sectors such as the automotive, medical, marine, armament, and other industries. 

United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling is your reliable source for centerless form, crush, and bar grinding, as well as expert precision thread rolling. Their experts can grind or roll precision products from bar stock or preformed parts, before or after heat treat. Their general capacity is 40 thousandths of an inch to 6 inches in diameter. 

United Centerless Grinding & Thread Rolling is AS9100 and ISO certified, and is currently pursuing ITAR registration. The certifications will include the recently acquired Swiss turning services, ensuring that the combined company is up to date on all quality and export control standards.
