Precision centerless grinding services
When you need straighter, rounder, and more precise-diameter aerospace parts, precision centerless grinding can deliver. The technique produces a “machined surface” that is impossible to achieve with a cutting tool in a conventional CNC turning process. We can reliably hold tolerances to +/- 0.00005”.
Thread rolling services
Thread rolling ensures the exceptional tensile, shear, and fatigue strength required for precision threaded aerospace components. Whereas thread cutting removes material by physically cutting away at a workpiece and weakening its structural integrity, thread rolling is a cold forging process that strengthens the material’s physical properties without removing any material.

Precision Specifications
Many aerospace parts have tight tolerances and precise concentricity and surface finish requirements. While it’s possible to achieve tight tolerances with conventional mills and lathes, the slow cycle times and dedicated manual quality assurance required aren’t cost-effective at high volumes.
Using precision centerless grinding, we can meet tight tolerance specifications easily and achieve concentricity and surface finish specifications that are impossible with conventional equipment. While many customers choose to send us a roughed-out piece for us to finish, we can also make your entire part from beginning to end.
Exotic Materials
Exotic materials like Inconel, Hastelloy, A286, and titanium are popular in aerospace parts manufacturing due to their desirable strength and temperature-resistant properties. However, these metals are anything but easy to cut using a mill or lathe.
When conventional CNC machining tools just can’t cut it (literally), precision centerless grinding is an excellent alternative. Whereas cutting tools used in conventional machining processes wear quickly and eventually break on hard materials, a grinding machine’s abrasive cutting wheels can handle even the hardest alloys. If the wheel dulls, we simply dress it to sharpen it—no need to pay for costly tool replacements.
